Meet Maya
Maya’s core strength is her innate ability to see the positive in any situation. Combine this with her high level of integrity and affable personality and the result is a realtor that quickly feels like family. She credits her positive demeanor to living by the ideal of servant leadership – to lead, one must serve.
Maya was born in Tampa and she has traveled back and forth from Florida to the Washington, DC metro area her entire life. She has roots in both cities but recently made a long term move to Tampa, specifically the Westchase area. Maya and her husband enjoy buying, flipping, and renting homes and have expertise in investment real estate. She also has a passion in interior design and staging. She understands the importance of finding the right home, in the right location, and will fight for the happiness of her clients. Her hope is to provide her clients with the best experience and make home buying or selling as seamless as possible.
Maya is a military wife and a proud mom of three little girls! Her husband served in the Air Force on active duty as a Combat Controller for 10 years and continues to serve in the Air National Guard. She proudly supports our service members and is so grateful for all they do for our country. She grew up in a real estate family; her husband has his masters in Real Estate development, her mom has been a realtor for 20 years, and her brother is a boutique builder and general contractor. Prior to becoming a Realtor, Maya specialized in Marketing and Business Development for a few startup companies, including one that was in the moving and logistic space. Because of this experience, she completely understands how pivotal of a decision moving can be and the stress that can accompany it. Maya also cheered for the Washington Redskins (now Commanders) for 6 years, with her last two years being a Captain. During her tenure on the team, she traveled to over 15 countries on Military Appreciation tours supporting our Military troops worldwide. However, her absolute favorite part of being on the team was working with many charitable organizations such as Wounded Warriors, Make a Wish Foundation, and the Special Olympics.
